Agreement
Using this website means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website. The work itself is covered by the separate quote and job authorization you agree with us each time.
Using the site
Please use this site for lawful purposes only. Do not misuse it, try to break it, scrape it, or copy its content without written permission. All text, images, logos and layout on this site belong to JR Palm Bay.
Quotes and prices
No price on this site is an offer. A binding price is given only after our crew has seen the load in person, and we state it before we lift anything. Prices are based on volume, then adjusted for what the items are, what they weigh, how hard they are to reach and where they have to go afterwards. If the load turns out to be bigger than you described, we agree the new price with you before we carry on. We never add it later.
What we cannot take
We never collect hazardous materials. That includes paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, asbestos, medical waste and anything flammable or corrosive. If we find any of it in a load, we leave it on site and tell you what it is. Please tell us about anything hazardous before the crew starts.
Ownership and permission
When you book, you confirm that the items are yours, or that the owner or the property owner has given you permission to have them taken away. Once items are on the truck we treat them as given up, and they are disposed of, donated or recycled. They cannot be returned. Please check drawers, cabinets, pockets and boxes before we arrive.
Protecting your property
Our crews use blankets, floor runners and door protection as a matter of course. Some items cannot come out without being taken apart, or without touching a door frame, a wall or a stair rail. Where that is unavoidable we point it out before we move the item. We are not responsible for damage that was already there. If you believe we caused damage, tell us within 48 hours so we can look at it while the facts are fresh.
Arrival times
Times we give you on this site and by phone are windows, not guarantees. When we actually arrive depends on traffic, weather, queues at the disposal site and how the jobs before yours run. Demand rises sharply after storms and at the end of the month, and same day slots are not guaranteed at those times.
Payment
Home jobs are paid on completion. Business accounts are invoiced on the terms printed on the invoice. Unpaid balances may carry late fees allowed under Florida law.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, JR Palm Bay is not liable for indirect or knock on losses that follow from your use of this website. Liability for the work itself is covered by the agreement for that job and by Florida law.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including county and state waste authorities. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute is handled in Brevard County, Florida.
